Ymatokoriyama is the neighbor to Nara. It is only five minutes by train. Please, visit Yamatokoriyama!!!

 

In "Yamatokoriyama Castle ",the stone wall in the end of 16th century has been kept until now. Next three spectacles have resulted characteristics of Yamatokoriyama from 1580 to Meiji Restoration 1867.

 

1.Strong,wonderful wall stone of The castle

Lord had needed stone statues in Buddhism because of the lack of the natural rock and hurries to build the castle. So you can look"upside down jizou stutue"on the north stone wall. we can understand strictness of the social situation even Civil war was ending.

 

2.Goldfishes and their breeding

Lord of The castle,Yoshisato 300 years ago continues to breeding, including enjoying various rare goldfishs. So the farming ponds have been becoming larger and larger.

 

3.Our culture of Downtown

You can look at many kinds houses in the town,There are fire watchtower of people,Shinto shrines,or the Buddhist temples,from even the street of cityscape. In limitted priod,in Feb.23 to Mar.3th this year Doll Festival,beutifule,wonderful are opened every year.Here,can you try to turn completely into "HINADOLLS"?

 

Nara was an ancient city of the 8th century.

There are the deer park and great statue of Buddha or other halls.

Nara have three world heritages. Nara is the neighbor of Yamatokoriyama.

It is at the position of five minutes by train.

 

Yamatokoriyama was political and economical center from 1580 to 1867 the Meiji Restoration.
